Description

Magnificent and rare archival piece from the house of Yves Saint Laurent dating from the 1970s / 1980s.
An iconic bohemian chic style model from the "Rive Gauche" era.
Ultra-versatile, it can be worn just as well as a wide tie belt (over a dress, jacket, or coat) as an elegant scarf around the neck.
Official size: Marked 75 cm / 30 US (Corresponds to an EU 36 size in clothing/belts, but its tie scarf cut makes it entirely universal and adjustable).

Length of the leather band: 128 cm
Total length (fringes included): 196 cm
Band width: 13.5 cm
Iconic details: The two wide leather ends terminate in gold-toned metal eyelets and long, fluid 34 cm fringes. It features its signature removable hammered gold-toned "Y" charm, suspended from a small chain.
Authenticity markings: The original markings are perfectly clear on the inside:
"Yves Saint Laurent", "Made in France", "Porc Velours". Identification codes: 5 138 / 02.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The suede leather is a deep, very supple black, the gold finishes are bright and free of pitting.
