Description

Sublime vintage short bolero-style jacket from the Saint Laurent Rive Gauche line, made in France. A rare and highly collectible piece dating from the late 1980s / early 1990s, emblematic of the fashion house's boho-chic style. It beautifully structures the silhouette thanks to its short, graphic cut and elegantly turned-up sleeves. Material: 100% knitted jacquard cotton, offering excellent structure and great comfort. Royal/navy blue background with a very rich multicolored floral and botanical pattern (shades of orange, terracotta, off-white, and touches of green). Very short cut (bolero), tailored lapel collar highlighted with a solid blue trim, unfastened (worn open). Precise measurements taken flat: Shoulder to shoulder: 36 cm Chest (armpit to armpit): 40 cm Sleeve length: 47 cm Size: Marked 36 on the label, but corresponds to a current 34 or a small 36 (XS/S). Ideal for petite frames. Condition: Good overall condition for a vintage piece of this era. Note: The knit shows a few discrete pulled threads (visible in the close-up photos, notably a small loose thread under a floral motif), but no holes. Slight natural color variations due to use are present under the arms, remaining very unnoticeable once the bolero is worn. A strong, timeless piece, ideal for enhancing a little black evening dress or dressing down a modern look with high-waisted jeans.
